The Role:
• Ensure production staff are equipped withproduction schedules and recipe cards.

• Ensure ingredients are correctly weighed foreach recipe.
• Oversee production process from mincing topacking.
• Ensure all finished product is correctlypackaged and labelled ready for freezing and storage.
• Oversee daily cleaning of factory and ensurewaste is disposed of correctly and safely.
• Daily upkeep of the factory – monitor areatemperatures and ensure issues, machine breakdowns, supply and staff needs areswiftly reported to management.
• Check the required tubs, lids &sleeves/labels are in the factory for the day’s production and if not thenreport to the warehouse supervisor.
• Ensure PPE washed and put away daily.
• Completion of prestart, weights & measureschecks, record cleaning records and pass to operations management team.
• Effectively supervise the production team toensure production runs smoothly.
• Ensure production staff wear PPE clothing andmaintain they follow hygiene and PPE procedures.
• Be responsible for the immediate safety andsecurity of production staff, ensuring staff comply with the business onmatters of Health & Safety.
• Ensure clear communication within team andbetween wider team and warehouse packing teams when liaising.
